Project Origins:
In the fall of 2001 a formal undergraduate foreign exchange program was begun between V.A. and FHSH by then Chair, John Sturgeon and FHSH President, Professor Iso Wagner. During a subsequent site visit to Schwäbisch Hall in the summer of 2003, the department’s Co-Directors of the Visual Arts Foreign Exchange Program, Professors Steve Bradley and John Sturgeon, approached FHSH President, Professor Wagner with the idea of a high-level graduate and faculty collaborative Exchange Project between the schools. After administrative planning over the next two years, our effort has resulted in the artistic and pedagogical success of this major undertaking by the two schools.
