Matt Sterling
2011

msterling1@umbc.edu

Matt Sterling is interested in the interaction between the technical and the artistic.  He seeks to utilize technology to augment artistic expression, primarily in a performance environment.  His works have included sensor based installations, real-time video processing and generative visual displays shown at the annual Mattin Art Center "pArty" (2005-2007), "Zero to 3600: Visualizing North Charles St" (2007), and across the US during the summer of 2008.  He is currently interested in further developing a generative visual system; automated, reactive and adaptive physical environments and exploring improvisational art works.
