Meghan Marx

Meghan Marx's interest lives in individual contributions to refuse and the toll taken on nature and the population. Influenced by images seen during her work in network news, she is working to bridge her gap between studio art and design, using video and still images in her reflections on the consumer, the producer, and our culture.

Meg received her BFA in graphic design from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. After graduation, she moved to Manhattan to peruse a career in network news. In 2008 Meg left art direction and moved to Baltimore where she served as adjunct professor in design. She is currently working toward her MFA in the IMDA program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
