Dominique Zeltzman
2014
domzeltz[at]yahoo[dot]com
Dominique Zeltzman's interest in mapping everyday moments through photography, sculpture, installation, and video evolved from mapping everyday movements through choreography and performance. A former San Francisco choreographer and performer, her work is inspired by the isolation of domesticity, cyclical tasks and the illusion of their power to dominate. Detritustrata, her 2011 solo show at Schiavone Fine Art, explores the rhythm of waste collected in the lives of people dressing and eating, growing and dying.
