Timothy Nohe will perform the opening movement of Sounding Botany Bay, Sounding Gamay at the U.S. Botanic Garden on October 31 as part of the Fulbright Association's 32nd Annual Conference, Mutual Understanding amid Global Economic Challenges. In live concert performances Nohe shapes the rich voices and sounds of the bay into an aural landscape that heightens and contrasts what is, and has been, so that the listener may experience the past and contemporary complexity of Botany Bay, Australia. Documentary photographs made at locations throughout the Bay will be projected as part of this multimedia event.
