Study Abroad Spring 2010
Apply by October 23 for the Spring Semester
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 //
Schwabisch Hall, Germany or Valencia Spain

The deadline for applying to the Department of Visual Arts Study Abroad program is Friday, October 23 for the Spring, 2010 semester. There are two different institutions, Schwabisch Hall, Germany or Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, fine arts Facultad de San Carlos in Valencia, Spain. The exchange selections will be announced on October 28, 2009.

Please consider applying to either one of the two European programs for a semester abroad. Unlike other Study Abroad programs, there is no additional tuition cost above what students currently pay to attend UMBC. This is a tremendous opportunity.

The Germany program is in English and if you have a working knowledge of Spanish language and you want to become more fluent, then the Valencia program would be an excellent choice as well.

For information about the programs, and complete application instructions, see the Study Abroad section of our website, listed above in this announcement.
