Alumnus Scott Yoell in Hawaii Biennal

UMBC MFA alumnus Scott Yoell, IMDA 2000, is featured in an exhibition interview and review; three of Scott's artworks are included in The Contemporary Museum Biennial of Hawaii Artists (IX) at The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu, Hawaii. Since graduating, Scott has been teaching at several universities, exhibited in various group and solo exhibitions, and lives in Hawaii.

Yoell addresses issues from consumerism to male subjectivity in his three Biennial works. The most ambitious work, Tsunami, brings a wave of countless plastic men surging through the gallery, challenging the boundary of the Museum's walls.
