Cinema Arts Alumna Angel Kristi Directs a New Movie

Alumna, Angel Kristi Williams is a 2005 graduate in Visual Arts and she is returning to her hometown Baltimore this March to direct a film and needs your help. She has a goal of raising $8,000 in the next 8 days and has created a Seed & Spark campaign for her new film project. Alumna Angel Kristi Williams graduated from UMBC's visual arts cinema arts program in 2005 and received her MFA graduate degree in filmmaking from Columbia College Chicago in 2012. Angel is a native of Baltimore, and she is directing a film about 2 girls growing up in the city. In 2012, she directed a critically acclaimed short film during her graduate studies, The Christmas Tree which premiered at Landmark's Harbor East Theatre in Baltimore.

Angel is returning to Baltimore to direct her unique independent film, Charlotte, about growing up and coming of age; she wrote the screenplay, and it will be filmed, with a small budget, in 3 days in Baltimore.
