Multimedia Specialist

The Johns Hopkins University Digital Media Center (DMC) will be looking to fill a part-time (1,000 hours per year) Multimedia Specialist position. This person will mentor students with technically challenging personal or academic projects involving media based communications. They will design and teach workshops, organize special events, mentor student groups, maintain specialized equipment, and pioneer new digital art-making technologies through project exploration and student leadership.

Successful candidates will have several of the following skills: graphic design, animation, digital photography, web design, app/game/iOS development, as well as an energetic student-centered disposition. We are especially interested in people with digital music, audio recording, maker/hacking, 3-D modeling/printing experience. The DMC is a non-academic lab located on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus in Baltimore, MD.
