Tim Nohe: Art To Dine For
TIm Nohe and Andy Hayleck create live soundscapes at Creative Alliance event.
Friday, September 19th, 2008 // 7 - 9:30
Clarinet player Leon Josowitz and scientist Shira Kramer initiate you into the fascinating world of Baltimore's internationally known avant-sound community. Fulbright Scholar, UMBC professor, composer and intermedia artist Tim Nohe and composer, musician and recordist Andy Hayleck create soundscapes and music on the spot with field recordings, computers, bowed metal and sheer gutsy imagination, pushing audio aesthetics to the limit. The artists answer questions about this compelling world while we share a vegetarian Indian buffet.
