Art & Community
Our Art and Community curriculum is for civically engaged students considering a career in non-profit and community arts. This course offers on-site meetings with an interdisciplinary team of professional artists, curators, community leaders and developers who work cooperatively towards positive urban development. Students work on-site between one of Baltimore City’s art organizations and their class where they study creative entrepreneur models. Students research a personal mission and develop it into a full proposal while learning how to implement a 501(c)3 organization and gain successful grant writing skills.
