Ted Victoria's work incorporates the use of a lens light system similar to the camera obscura thought to be used by artists such as Vermeer and Da Vinci. Actual objects are projected onto a translucent surface to create a live picture. These works are viewed in several formats such as wall constructions and large installations. His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally in venues such as the Musee d'Orsay, Paris; Gallerie Bonnier, Geneva; MOMA, New York; PS1, New York; Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei; National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; The New Museum, New York and the Center for Contemporary, Kansas City. Victoria is represented by Schroeder Romero Gallery in New York.
