Melanie Berry’s films have been shown in a variety of venues including the San Francisco Cinematique, the Collective for living Cinema, and the Museum of Modern Art.
As Visual Arts Program Director, she oversees the portfolio admissions process, departmental advising, and course scheduling. Berry also teaches film history in the undergraduate program at UMBC.
Melanie Berry holds a degree in filmmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (M.F.A.) and a degree in sculpture from the Virginia Commonwealth University (B.F.A.).
