- The Art Life is devoted to fostering community at UMBC via bowing down at ‘the altar of artistic expression.’ At General Body Meetings, they embark on the lifelong journey to create together art in all its various forms.
- The Association of Black Artists has been established for the purpose of creating a safe space for black artists to have dialogue about what it means to identify as a black artists, to establish a strong network of artists for fellowship and support, and to encourage collaborative projects between disciplines.
